My RE appt results

Whew, longest consultation ever!

I met with the nurse Practitioner, Franci and Dr. Lavy afterwards. 1 1/2 hrs between the two of them. Both were so nice! We went over all my history including my not so good Glucose results. They showed concern but I told them how my regular doctor retested me (Just the basic test apparently) and I showed perfect so we were torn and will decide on the next 2 hour test on Saturday..

Friday: I have a SHG- Sonohysterogram Im waiting for them to call me for an appointment. I want Friday as late as possible just in case..

Saturday: I have a 2 hour Glucose Fasting test again. *SIGH* I hate those but whatever needs to be done, Ill do it. She thinks that if the numbers are still high then there is a really good chance of me actually having PCOS. I never thought about that since Im regular and I seem to Ovulate on a monthly basis. Either way if they turn out bad, then Ill be going on Metformin This drug was recommended in the past but as a last minute precaution really. She also mentioned that a lot of people who go on this and are overweight end up losing weight.

Wed 10/29 I have a Mid Cycle Evaluation with blood work.
Wed 11/5 I have a Luteal Phase Evaluation with blood work.

Next cycle I have Baseline Ultrasounds and bloodwork since I missed my opportunity.

They were impressed by DHs semen analysis. Apparently hes 12 ½ times higher than the average!! He turned red then grinned proudly. HA!

OH YEA! I do NOT have a blocked tube after all!! It did collapse partially, didnt look perfect but Im not in the category of blocked tube He saw that I was relieved.

So all in All. I may have PCOS. I may have an ovulation issue. They said my last internal Ultrasound might have been a fluke because no blood was taken at the same time. Doh!

If anyone asks my last 3 hour Glucose test in January resulted like this.
Glucose Fasting- 135
Glucose 1 hr 264
Glucose 2 hr 242
Glucose 3 hr 132

Glucose Fasting-
65 - 99- Normal
100 - 125- Impaired
125 or higher- Diabetes

Im not seeing my A1c with the above paperwork but the 2nd test I had with my regular doctor showed. 5.7 for A1c- Must be under 6.0% and I was. My Plasma Glucose was 126
