Not pregnant.. Had a DR's appt..

Well I had a BFN this month. I should put my chart up here so it just stays put but for now.

Today I had a HSG test.. http://www.ivf.com/hsg.html
Skip forward to the event..
The nurse was by my side rubbing my arm and talking to me while my doc was doing his thang. Cleaning the cervix and what not.. I then felt the catheter. DID NOT LIKE THAT. My eyes opened, "Are you alright Dee" Peachy.. was my response.

I was watching the screen and a Tech appeared in the other room, doing his thing. The nurse explained what everything was on the monitor. Then the tech goes.. I CAN'T SEE THE LEFT SIDE! I freaked. What the hell does that mean! They started moving me around to see if the dye would leak over to the left side because the right side was perfect. No good..

I looked down and said ehh.. Heh.. What's going on? Nurse didn't know.. Tech came out and my doc and him were looking at the monitor. He told me he found scar tissue on my left side. Not sure from what. He said he could be wrong though.. He also said it looks like I had a spasm and it just closed tight which is normal and might not be a concern. He saw a little bit of the dye leak over but not like the right. They put MORE dye into me. The last I heard was 7cc's and nothing on the left side except that little bit.

All in all. My doc was happy with my right side. Told me atleast I'm not completely blocked. "Dee, Go be with your husband as much as possible this month because after this.. There's a good chance for pregnancy after cleaning out the cobwebs as us old timers say it." I asked him about the blockage and scar tissue and he said all we need is one good side. We'll see what happens in the next month or two then we'll go from there.

I'm SO glad I took today off. I'm having a bad reaction to it. I got dizzy when I sat up on the bed, then laid back down. I stood up and the nurse held onto me because I swayed. Did my thang in the bathroom and left.

It did hurt. Was more than uncomfortable. Especially since it took longer than it should of because of the spasm or blockage.. Whatever you want to call it. Either way, it's almost 8pm now and I feel like I'm recovering from a very bad cold. I'm still weak. Perhaps an alergic reaction to the dye.. Fun!
