Test Results

I got a voicemail from my doctor. (Well the RN) She was demanding that I call them back ASAP and make an appointment as well, and that it was about my test results from the 3 hour Glucose Test. By the time I got the voicemail, it was after 6pm and they were closed. I need a new phone.

I called this morning and she told me that my levels were extremely high still.
First test was 135 with fasting.
2nd test was 264 after that drink.
3rd test was 242 and so on. She said it was still high and should be around 65-99.

She said that it could quite be diabetes or not. They're not sure. It could be that the blood stayed out too long and so on. She reassured me that everything would be ok. She also mentioned another 3 hour test and I laughed and said I refuse to do that again and told her what happened.

I asked her about my other tests that came back normal. I wasn't sure what they tested for so I was curious. They tested for Thyroid, Progesterone, Cholesterol (A very thorough screening), Cardio Profile, which tests for Cardio Vascular disease and a bunch of other diseases that I could possibly get in the future or on my way to getting. ALL came out perfect except my Vitamin D. I have a 9 when the normal is 65!!!!! She said milk does NOT help, sun does but then there's cancer.. So I said Vitamins here I come haha!

So.. We'll see what happens on Monday. I'm nervous and excited. I just don't want to spend a crazy amount of special vitamins through his office so he can make the extra $$. Ugh.

I think I'm going to ask for more tests like the ultra sounds and what not to see if he doesn't suggest them. I honestly feel that could be my issue since my blood work came back normal. Could also be timing but we'll see.

Note: I realize I say 'We'll See' too much.
