Hello All!
This is my first post of many to come. I'm going to copy and paste some history for you all so you get a complete rundown of what's going on.


Wednesday Dec 12th 2007

I had an appointment with an OBGYN/Holistic Healer about my infertility.
Well we got there on time.. a lil early. Nice place.. Whole Holistic vibe going on... Nice. Calming. We meet the Dr. (He wrote a book I have, packed away unfortunately) My DH, the doc and I talk for a few minutes and he goes.. "Oh.. I don't deliver." I said what? He repeats.. UTTER disappointment! He goes well we can refer you to some fantastic Midwives or OBGYNs, whatever you want. I almost growled. Instead bit my tongue and said "On your website it seemed like you actually did everything. Perhaps putting up a blinking sign that says 'We do not deliver' I told him that NO midwives in CT within Distance to where we live are on Aetna. I was SO MAD! More disappointed I guess.. OBGYN for 19 years.. Doesn't deliver. WTF!! Anyways.

We talked about history. He wants a genetic testing done. Recommended a Body Cleansing/Fasting. We bite. $100 per person because of the vitamins and shakes. We need something like that anyways. More than we wanted to spend but whatever. Merry frigin x-mas. He asked me if I'd like to get blood tests and every other type of tests done if it's needed. I said hell yea, that's why I'm here LOL So DH has his spermie test/cup and paperwork. He's going to try to do it at home and bring the cup in as soon as tomorrow or Fri.

Depending on snow. Takes 10 days for that. THEN One of the blood work tests I have to fast for 10 hours and I have to take it on my 21st day of my cycle. How cool is it that it falls on Saturday!!! HOW convenient! So I can get both blood tests done. One is for hormones and the other is something else. Not sure. So I made another appt in a month with the Dr. They said they'd call me back when the tests are complete to tell me of my results. The beginning of the year we're going to start the fasting/Detox diet.

It's a start.. If he can help me get pregnant, that's the first step. UGH!
